2013 Pulaski Day Parade - Benjamin Franklin Parkway

Each year, Polish organizations and individuals observe General Pulaski Day in the city of Philadelphia on the first Sunday in October with a mass at the Cathedral of SS. Peter & Paul at 9:30AM, a luncheon held at the Polish American Cultural Center in Center City Philadelphia, followed by a parade on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway at 12:30. This parade has been held every year since 1933. The parade is sponsored by the Polish American Congress, Eastern Pennsylvania District.

The parishoners of St. Adalbert's Church and the parents and children of St. Adalbert's Polish Language School participate in the Pulaski Day observance each year by marching in the parade. We extend our thanks to the contributions to help make our participation possible.

The month of October is also Polish-American heritage month, which was founded in 1981.
